Located in Fetcham, Surrey, this substantial new-build family home was designed to provide a calm, functional and timeless environment for modern family living. The property comprises five bedrooms alongside a self-contained one-bedroom annex, offering flexible accommodation that can evolve alongside the family's changing needs.

Lomax & Chi were appointed to oversee the complete interior architecture and design of the home, working closely with our clients and Architect from the early stages of the project to ensure every aspect of the interior was carefully considered before construction commenced. This early involvement allowed us to shape the internal layouts, architectural detailing and overall flow of the property, ensuring each space was both practical and beautifully resolved.

A key objective was to create a home that felt cohesive throughout while retaining a distinct identity within each room. Through thoughtful spatial planning, bespoke joinery, carefully layered materials and a considered approach to lighting, we developed interiors that balance elegance with everyday functionality.

Particular attention was given to the way the family would use the home on a day-to-day basis, creating spaces that support both busy family life and quieter moments of retreat. A self-contained annex was thoughtfully incorporated to provide a comfortable home for the grandparents, allowing them to remain closely connected to family life while enjoying the independence and privacy of their own dedicated living space.
