Nestled within the beautiful Cotswold countryside sits Barnsley House, an imposing grade II-listed manor house amongst eleven acres of grounds. Once owned and designed by legendary garden designer and writer Rosemary Verey, it was sold after her death in 2001 and unfortunately fell victim to some unsympathetic renovations.
In 2009, the property was acquired by the owners of the inimitable Calcot Manor Hotel & Spa who were keen to rescue Barnsley House and return it to its former glory. In her capacity at Fox Linton Associates, Chi-Chi Baber, now Director of Lomax & Chi, was enlisted to assist in the sympathetic restoration, working on the interior design of all areas of the estate to reinstate its rural charm.
