Lomax & Chi are a London based Interior Architecture and Design studio, working alongside leading Architects and Contractors across the UK and Europe.

Our approach to design is contemporary, but always with a sense of timelessness. Each project is tailored to reflect our clients needs, and we focus wholeheartedly on the specifications and aspirations of the people who use the spaces we design - from private residential projects, to luxury hospitality and commercial interiors.

We see our role as interpreters, seeking out and deciphering our clients own unique sense of style and translating that into a space they love.

Functionality and longevity are foundational pillars in all of the work that we do. We place a strong emphasis on the importance of thoughtful internal layouts and smart interior architecture as a requisite for brilliant, long lasting design. Our aim is for rooms to function just as beautifully now, as they will for many years to come.

Our Islington Studio has a small but highly focused team, working and collaborating to ensure projects are delivered on time, on specification and on budget. Operating on this small scale allows us to maintain close working relationships with all our clients and provide a unique, highly personalised service.

MEET THE TEAM

CHI-CHI BABER, DIRECTOR

Lomax & Chi was founded in 2016 by Chi-Chi Baber, an interior designer with over 25 years of industry experience. During her career, she has worked alongside many highly regarded designers, notably the inimitable Mary Fox Linton at Fox Linton Associates where she spent six years.

Chi-Chi offers a friendly and tailored interior design service; she prioritises developing a close working relationship with each of her clients in order to really understand the vision they have for their space, and to investigate how a home can function better to support a clients lifestyle. As a mother of small children, she is perfectly placed to understand the demands and requirements of busy family life, and draws on her own experience to find meaningful solutions for every project.
