Turnberry hotel

Located along the dramatic Scottish coastline in Ayrshire, the Turnberry Hotel was part of Starwood’s luxury property portfolio. In her capacity at Fox Linton Associates, Chi-Chi Baber, now Director of Lomax & Chi, was part of the team asked to oversee the interior architecture and design for the full sympathetic renovation of this listed building. Built in 1906, the team worked closely with a heritage consultant to restore the vision of its original architect, while also balancing the requirements and expectations of a contemporary luxury hotel.  Opening in time for the 1994 Open Golf Tournament.
